Overdraft Protection

Given the everyday expenses we all face, there may be a time when you accidentally overspend your checking balance. In many places, that might result in bounced checks and costly merchant fees. But at Empower FCU, our Overdraft Protection policy allows the transactions to go through and spares you the hassle. The only time you pay for this service is if you use it. Here's how it works:
 

• Use a savings account, line of credit or combination of both to cover an overdraft on your checking account.
• Get peace of mind knowing you have emergency funds available in case of an oversight.
• You can sign up to have Courtesy Pay cover overdrafts involving your debit card or ATM withdrawals, at our discretion.
